Free choice of doctor

A key advantage of private inpatient insurance is the free choice of treating doctor. If you have semi-private or private insurance, you will be personally operated on and cared for by PD Dr. Tilman Calliess.

As a person with general health insurance, you have the option of extending your hospital services and choosing your surgeon. In cooperation with Hirslanden Klinik Salem Spital, we offer you a special offer to give you additional comfort and more choice.

Guaranteed surgery appointments

Semi-private and private patients are given priority for the earliest possible surgery date. Even in the event of bottlenecks, we reliably keep the scheduled appointments.

As a person with semi-private or private insurance, you benefit from fast and uncomplicated appointment allocation with PD Dr. Tilman Calliess – whether online, by telephone or via a GP referral. Please let us know your insurance status when you register.

Elective surgical services

We always use high-quality implants from renowned manufacturers. For privately and semi-privately insured patients, we offer additional optional surgical services such as innovative technologies (macro-robots or computer navigation) and special implants on request – at no additional cost. As a patient with general health insurance , you have the option of booking these optional surgical services individually.

Foreign insurances

Treatment at our articon specialist practice is possible with foreign insurance. The consultation is usually charged directly to the patient. We have a flat-rate system for this, depending on the complexity of the treatment. Our office will be happy to inform you about the rates.
In the case of surgical treatment in hospital, a cost estimate will be drawn up, which you can submit to your insurance company before treatment.

In this case, the assumption of costs can be arranged directly with the Hirslanden Salem Hospital.
